Terms
Terms and Conditions
Last updated 10 September 2026
These terms cover work I do for clients. They are written to be read, not to bury anything. If something here conflicts with what we agreed in writing for your project, what we agreed in writing wins.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between you (the client) and JR Bondoc, an independent developer based in the Philippines, operating as jrbondoc.pro.
2. What I provide
I build three kinds of thing:
- Websites, including landing pages, business sites, and portfolio sites
- AI automation, including workflow automation, CRM and email automation, and AI agents
- Custom applications, including internal dashboards, booking systems, customer portals, and admin tools
What is included in your project is whatever we agree in writing before work starts. Anything not written down is not included.
3. Results First, Payment After
This is how I work, and it is a real commitment rather than a slogan.
- You do not pay a development fee up front
- I build the agreed scope and show it to you
- Payment falls due once the work is complete and you have approved it
Two honest limits on that. First, costs that must be paid to someone else, such as domain registration, hosting upgrades, paid APIs, or stock assets, are yours and are normally paid as they are incurred. Second, "complete and approved" means the scope we agreed, not an open ended series of new requests. Section 5 covers that.
4. Quotes are estimates until agreed
Any figure or timeline I give you before we have a written agreement is an estimate. It is my honest read of the work based on what I know at the time, and it binds neither of us.
A price becomes fixed only when it is set out in writing, by email or a signed document, and you have confirmed it. If the work turns out to be materially different from what was described to me, I will tell you before continuing rather than after.
5. Changes to scope
Requests that fall outside the agreed scope are new work. I will tell you what they add in time and cost, and you decide whether to go ahead. I will not quietly absorb them, and I will not quietly bill you for them either.
6. What I need from you
Projects stall on inputs, not on code. To keep yours moving, you agree to provide:
- Content such as text, images, and logos, and the right to use them
- Access to any accounts or services the work depends on
- Feedback and approvals within a reasonable time
If a project goes quiet on your side for more than 60 days, I may treat the delivered work as complete and invoice for it.
7. Ownership of the work
Full ownership of the custom work transfers to you when final payment clears. Until then I retain it.
Two things worth being clear about:
- Third party components such as open source libraries, fonts, and stock images stay under their own licences. You get the right to use them as part of your project, not ownership of them.
- I keep the right to reuse generic techniques, patterns, and tools I developed. I will never reuse your content, your branding, or anything specific to your business.
Unless you ask me not to, I may show the finished work in my portfolio.
8. Third party services
Your project may rely on services I do not control, such as hosting, email delivery, payment processors, or AI providers. I choose them carefully, but I am not responsible for their outages, price changes, or decisions to discontinue a product.
9. Limitation of liability
I will carry out the work with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that:
- My total liability for anything arising from a project is limited to the amount you actually paid me for that project
- I am not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, or lost business opportunity
- Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud
The work is delivered as agreed and tested, but no software is guaranteed to be free of errors or never to be interrupted.
10. Ending a project early
Either of us can end a project in writing. If you end it after work has started, you pay for the work completed to that point, at a fair proportion of the agreed price. If I end it, you owe nothing for work not delivered.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and the courts of the Philippines have jurisdiction over any dispute. Before anyone goes near a court, we agree to try to sort it out directly.
12. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. The version that applies to your project is the one in force when we agreed the work, not a later one.
If anything here is unclear, ask me before we start rather than after. contact@jrbondoc.pro
